Squirrel bot from Arcadia

After taking a short break from my paintings I've decided this is going to be my next painting in my series. I started this drawing a couple of months ago and it’s been sitting untouched since then, so I feel this would be the best place to pick up where I left off since finishing my art classes back in May. 

This is a sketch of a squirrel bot from Arcadia. I figure animals in this new world serve as surveillance equipment and I wanted to show it in its natural habitat which would be perched on a mechanical tree monitoring citizen in Arcadia. This will be another mixed media piece but instead of using watercolor for this small work I’m going to try painting with gouache.
